Impressions
Staying at the apartment offered both ups and downs. On the downside, cleanliness was a significant issue; despite requesting a cleaning service, we found the apartment dusty and had to tackle the bathroom ourselves with bleach. Arriving late meant we had to venture out shortly after check-in to purchase essential items such as toilet paper and soap, which should have been provided. The kitchen equipment was lacking, missing basic necessities like a chopping board and teapot, and the subpar kettle presented additional inconveniences during meal preparation. The air conditioning units were also neglected, covered in dust, forcing us to clean them to ensure a comfortable environment. Despite being advertised for up to six adults, we faced a shortage of towels, which required us to make additional requests to the host—a tedious process made cumbersome by the language barrier at the reception.
On a more positive note, the apartment boasted spacious rooms filled with natural light, providing a pleasant atmosphere that was further enhanced by a stunning sea view. The host was remarkably responsive and helpful, addressing our concerns promptly, which somewhat alleviated the inconveniences we encountered. While the beach nearby lacked cleanliness, the area's vibrant atmosphere, although sometimes noisy due to loud music in the evenings, added a lively edge to our stay. The washing machine was in excellent condition, a rare find in rental properties, allowing us to manage our laundry needs efficiently. Overall, while the apartment has significant potential due to its space and light, it certainly requires attention to cleanliness and essentials to provide a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.
