Staying at this establishment was far from a pleasant experience, marred by an arrogant manager and a series of unfortunate events. Despite our reservation for a studio, we found ourselves without the room we had booked, as it was given to someone else. When we arrived, the manager offered us alternative accommodations—only for an additional charge—with no explanation regarding the mix-up. Another option was proposed: a studio in a separate building on the ground floor, where noise from generators and washing machines filled the air. To make matters worse, the room was in disarray, lacking essential items like blankets and cooking utensils. Ants crawled over hidden garbage, creating an unbearable smell that made the idea of staying there intolerable. After two hours of futile negotiation with the dismissive manager, we received another room that turned out to be several miles from the city center, making transportation difficult and uncomfortable.

On a slightly positive note, the new room did boast well-functioning air conditioning and a fridge, but that was the extent of the advantages. The cleanliness was atrocious, with hair, dust, and remnants of snacks from previous guests littering the bed. Mosquitoes swarmed around, and the overall location felt isolated and unwelcoming. To add insult to injury, we felt the uncomfortable stares from other guests as an Egyptian-Czech couple, regardless of our official marital status. The frequent electricity cuts only worsened the situation, leaving us in discomfort and frustration. Additionally, the listing's inaccuracies regarding the room's details and location made for a shocking surprise upon arrival. Although we appreciated that we were not asked for identification, which may benefit unmarried couples, this small mercy could not overshadow the numerous disappointments we encountered during our stay.
