Staying at the resort in Makadi Bay had its pros and cons. While the location was a bit remote—approximately 10 kilometers from the hustle and bustle of Hurghada—this isolation didn't bother us, as we were perfectly content to enjoy our time within the resort itself. The beach had very shallow waters, making swimming by the shore somewhat impractical, and although there was a coral reef nearby, it lacked the vibrant colors typically expected from such natural formations. Additionally, the resort's prices were on the higher end compared to other accommodations in the area, and the clientele skewed toward an older demographic, which might not attract younger guests looking for more of a lively atmosphere.
On the upside, we were able to stay in the Adults Only section, allowing for a peaceful and relaxed experience. The resort was impressively spacious and well-equipped with a variety of facilities, including three restaurants, multiple bars, a gym, and even a disco. The animation team stood out with their friendly and lively personalities, making our stay even more enjoyable. Our room was generously sized, offering beautiful views and surrounded by lush greenery, which added to the overall ambiance. Most importantly, the food was consistently good and diverse, catering to varied tastes and ensuring that we always found something delicious to enjoy during our stay.
