Pet friendly El Arosa Boutique Hotel Hurghada

Staying at a hotel can often be a key part of making or breaking a vacation experience, and unfortunately, my recent visit to an establishment booked through Travel Republic fell short in many aspects. One of the most alarming issues was a lack of communication prior to my arrival, notably regarding visa requirements for entry into Egypt, which had not been mentioned at all. When I inquired about the availability of broadband at the hotel, my request was met with silence, leaving me in the dark regarding essential services. This lack of transparency was a common thread during my stay, as my requests for basic amenities were often unmet, including crucial items like towels, toilet paper, and even a functional room fan.

Upon arriving, despite specifically requesting a quiet room, I ended up beside a construction site, and the overall condition of the room left much to be desired. The fridge had to be replaced, while the television barely worked. Beyond technical failures, the atmosphere was less than inviting; dust-coated patio furniture and loose bathroom fixtures diminished any sense of comfort. It was particularly disheartening to deal with routine inconveniences—such as having the key stuck in the door multiple times or witnessing the dining area littered with cleaning supplies as I attempted to enjoy my meals. Rather than providing a relaxing getaway, my time at the hotel quickly became more about coping with the deficiencies of the establishment and their staff.

Sadly, the service shortcomings extended beyond the hotel itself to include Travel Republic, whose customer service seemed to be a constant source of frustration. The inability to communicate via email, despite the convenience it provides in this digital age, felt counterintuitive to their claim of prioritizing customer service. Additionally, the experience at the airport was less than reassuring, with a stranger claiming my name, highlighting potential security issues in the transfer process. To top it all off, my breakfast experience was marred by discovering an insect in my salad, a final insult to an already disappointing stay. Overall, my encounter with this hotel and Travel Republic was far from the relaxing getaway I had envisioned.
