Staying at Makadi Resorts was a delightful experience overall, transcending our expectations right from the moment we arrived. The location itself is breathtaking, providing guests with an all-encompassing environment where various services are easily accessible. Hygiene is evidently prioritized throughout the resort, a standout feature that enhances the overall enjoyment of the stay. The aqua facilities were also impressive, boasting a spacious area with multiple levels that cater to guests of all ages. Moreover, the restaurant options were plentiful, featuring five distinct dining establishments—including three a la carte choices—each staffed by well-trained teams committed to exemplary hospitality.

While the resort offered many conveniences, there were a couple of areas in need of improvement. For instance, the beach activities, diving, and water sports failed to meet our expectations, lacking the vibrancy and allure typically associated with a premier beachfront destination. Additionally, we found the wave pool to be uncomfortably cold, which detracted from our experience and limited our enjoyment of this otherwise enticing feature. However, these drawbacks were overshadowed by the exceptional service and attentive staff that consistently made us feel valued throughout our stay.

In our downtime, we took advantage of the romantic walkways that wound beautifully along the Red Sea coast, perfect for leisurely strolls under the stars. The availability of gym equipment allowed us to stay active, while the bar's creative cocktails became a highlight of our evenings, expertly crafted by friendly bartenders dedicated to providing excellent service. The overall ambiance of the resort, with its intentional blend of oriental furnishings and regular maintenance, added a touch of authenticity that enhanced our experience. Despite the minor shortcomings, our first trip to Makadi Resorts was a memorable escape, and we left with a desire to return in the future.
