Staying at a hotel with 5,000 rooms can be quite overwhelming, especially for guests with mobility issues or those traveling with elderly family members. This particular hotel, despite its large size, lacks certain features that one would typically expect from a higher-rated establishment. While many hotels boast luxurious appointments, this one feels more like a four-star experience rather than the five-star luxury advertised. The towels in the bathroom, a basic expectation for any quality hotel, are disappointingly grey instead of crisp white, and the absence of bathrobes and shampoo adds to the feeling that there are several small but significant details that have been overlooked.

For those who enjoy their morning coffee, the lack of a kettle in the room can be a frustrating omission. Simple amenities that enhance comfort are often what guests remember most about their stay, and the absence of such provisions contributes to a sense of neglect. On top of that, our dining experience at the à la carte restaurant left much to be desired. Booking a special birthday dinner quickly turned sour when we discovered that we would need to pay the full price despite expecting a more celebratory atmosphere. The situation worsened when we were met with rude service after deciding to leave, as the waiter aggressively pursued us over the two bottles of water we had ordered.

However, it’s not all bad; the all-inclusive restaurant served delicious food, providing a welcome contrast to our more disappointing encounters. The culinary offerings here were well-prepared, and that aspect of our stay was certainly a highlight worth mentioning. Yet, despite the positives, the multiple little issues throughout our experience made it clear that the hotel could greatly benefit from some refinements. An investment in guest satisfaction and attention to detail would undoubtedly elevate the overall experience for future visitors, ensuring that their stay is more enjoyable and less marred by inconveniences.
