This blatant upselling strategy felt not only manipulative but also inexcusable for a place that should prioritize guest satisfaction. Instead of treating all guests equally and providing them with quality accommodations from the start, the hotel seemed to rely on distinguishing between a subpar experience and a decent one based solely on an additional payment. This left a bitter taste in my mouth, cementing my decision to never return to such a place that prioritizes profit over genuine hospitality.
