Private Villa Y51 - 3 Bedrooms At El-Gouna Hurghada

Staying at the villa was an experience filled with both highlights and disappointments. The main allure for us was the promise of a heated pool, which ultimately turned out to be a frustrating aspect of our visit. Upon arrival, we discovered that the pool heating came with an unlisted fee of 1000 EGP (approximately $20) per day, something we were only informed about after booking through WhatsApp. Though my husband was able to clarify that we wouldn’t be paying those extra costs, it was disappointing to find that the heating system struggled to reach a comfortable temperature. After three days, the water only reached 20 degrees Celsius, making it far too cold to enjoy, especially considering the chilly weather we encountered during our stay.

Despite the disappointment with the pool, the villa itself was a delightful retreat. It was impeccably clean and exquisitely decorated, showcasing both modern and traditional design elements that created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The layout of the villa is particularly appealing; numerous doors on the ground floor provide easy access to the terrace from every room, enhancing the sense of space and connection to the outdoors. We also appreciated having a small balcony upstairs, where we could enjoy the views. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a barbecue, though we had to bring our own coal to utilize it.

The overall location and beautiful surroundings added to our enjoyment and made the experience worthwhile, despite the pool issues. We had all the necessary linen, towels, and bath essentials for a comfortable stay and appreciated the well-thought-out amenities. While our time at the villa was marred by the unforeseen pool challenges, we still loved the beauty and tranquility of the place. If we plan our trip better next time, maybe we can finally enjoy the pool as intended.
