Saint Maria Hotel Hurghada

My recent stay at Santa Maria was a blend of pleasant experiences and notable areas for improvement. On the downside, the aqua area and billiards section seemed to be in need of rejuvenation, which detracted from the overall atmosphere. Additionally, some of the amenities in the rooms could benefit from an upgrade to enhance the comfort and convenience of guests. It was also apparent that certain staff members could use more training in guest relations to ensure a consistently welcoming environment. These elements, while important, did not overshadow the positives of my stay.

One of the standout features of Santa Maria is its prime location, with a microbus readily available to transport guests to the nearby beach, just a leisurely 10-minute walk away. I found the sandy beach to be conducive for swimming, albeit lacking in snorkeling opportunities. The swimming pool was another highlight, offering varied depths that catered to all age groups, including a well-designed kids’ pool at just 65 cm deep, which was perfect for younger guests. Food quality was impeccable; although the variety was limited, I was impressed by the delicious meals that left me feeling great and without any digestive issues, a refreshing change compared to other hotels I've experienced in Hurghada. The affordability of the stay, including three meals a day, was a significant draw for me, and I was particularly touched by the warm hospitality of the owner and staff. I would highly recommend Santa Maria as an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking good value.
